In short, we can say that motivation is the process that initiates, guides or sustains all our goal-based behaviors. In short, motivation is what triggers us to act.
For example, we might consider the act of reading an article on antiquity to gain knowledge. The desire to start reading this article and then finish it and the desire to reach the information are all realized by motivation. When the individual reaches the information, he gets satisfaction. Satisfaction is the source of motivation.
If the individual wants to achieve something in order to achieve satisfaction, this is an internal motivation (Internal Motivation) Extrinsic motivation, on the other hand, emerges with effects such as reward, punishment, pressure, and request coming from outside.
For example, when a mother says to her child, “You can’t play outside if you don’t tidy your room,” it is extrinsically motivated. It’s not because the child likes to tidy their room, it’s because they use cleaning the room as a tool to play.

So, is your motivation intrinsic or extrinsic?
